A Little About Me
Hey y'all! My name is Gina. Let me introduce myself...
I grew up in Nashville, TN and I'm a proud graduate of Belmont University, where I earned my BFA in Theatre Performance. My first exposure to theatre was as a freshman in high school when my mom signed me up to audition for a youth guild production of Godspell as a way to make new friends. I begrudgingly went through with the audition and as a result, instantly found a home in theatre.
Since undergrad, I have been lucky enough to travel to Maine, New York, Kentucky, as well as roaming around within my hometown pursuing what I love. Some of my favorite credits include Sarah Ruhl's Eurydice (Eurydice), Alice in Wonderland (Alice), and Gruesome Playground Injuries (Kayleen).
In addition to acting, I am also a 200hr certified yoga instructor. When offstage, I teach Power Flow Vinyasa and Restorative yoga to all levels and ages of yogis. Educating young people is another passion of mine. As a teaching artist, I've taught theatre workshops and masterclasses for students in the greater Nashville area through Nashville Children's Theatre and toured to several schools in upstate New York with Merry-Go-Round Playhouse.
My personal mission is to heal, unite, and reveal truth within my community through the theatrical arts. I want to travel the world, teach what I know, learn what I don't, and never stop telling stories.
